日本糸リフト協会 発足のご挨拶

このたび、「日本糸リフト協会」を発足する運びとなりましたことをご報告申し上げます。

近年、美容医療におけるスレッドリフト（糸リフト）は、その手軽さとダウンタイムの少なさから多くの患者様に支持され、施術件数も飛躍的に増加しております。フェイスリフト手術と比べて低侵襲であるため、美容医療の経験が浅い医師でも導入しやすく、施術者の裾野も急速に広がっています。

しかしその一方で、十分な知識や技術を伴わない施術による合併症や、期待外れの結果といったトラブルも増加しています。糸リフトは決して「簡単な施術」ではなく、解剖学的知識、糸の構造や特性の理解、患者様ごとの状態に応じた適応判断など、極めて高度な専門性が求められる分野です。

私たち「日本糸リフト協会」は、こうした現状を真摯に受け止め、糸リフトをより安全で効果的な医療技術として確立し、患者様が安心して治療を受けられる環境を整備することを目的に設立されました。

当会では、経験豊富な専門医による講習会や症例検討、トラブル対応の情報共有、医療安全に関する啓発活動を通じて、施術者の知識と技術の標準化を図り、スキルアップを支援してまいります。また、糸リフトにこれから取り組もうとされている先生方にとっても、当会が確かな道しるべとなれるよう、教育的・実践的なサポート体制を整えてまいります。

さらに、協会のもう一つの大きな役割として、施術を受ける患者様への正確かつ誠実な情報提供があります。美容医療に関心を持つ方々が、不安や誤解なく施術を選択できるよう、科学的根拠に基づいた情報を発信し、医療機関と患者様との間に確かな信頼関係を築くことに努めてまいります。

加えて、現在市場に流通している多様なスレッド製品に関しても、構造的特性や作用機序、適応部位、使用法などを検証し、会員の皆様と共に深く理解を進めていくことも重要な活動の一つです。

本協会の取り組みは、医師のみならず、糸リフトに関連する企業の皆様、特に正規輸入会社の方々との協力なしには成し得ません。信頼できる製品情報の提供や、使用法に関する最新知見の共有を通じて、業者様ともパートナーシップを築きながら、医療の質の向上と市場の健全化を図っていきたいと考えております。医師と業者がともに学び合い、支え合うことで、互いにメリットのある、建設的な協力関係を築いてまいりたいと存じます。

このように当協会は、単なる技術習得の場にとどまらず、医師としての姿勢や責任感を重視した、学びと交流の場を目指しています。また、日本の医師がこれまで培ってきた繊細で高精度な技術や臨床経験を、国際社会に発信していくことも、当会の重要なビジョンの一つです。日本のスレッドリフト技術や知見を世界に紹介し、美容医療の国際的な交流をさらに活発にしていくべく、今後も積極的に取り組んでまいります。

Welcome Message from the President

We are pleased to announce the official launch of the Japan Thread Lifting Association.

In recent years, thread lifting has gained significant popularity in the field of aesthetic medicine due to its minimally invasive nature, short recovery time, and ease of access. As a result, the number of procedures performed has increased dramatically. Compared to traditional facelift surgery, thread lifting is less invasive, making it more approachable for physicians new to aesthetic medicine, and leading to a rapid expansion in the number of practitioners.

However, with this growth, complications and unsatisfactory results caused by insufficient knowledge or skill have also increased. Despite its image as a simple procedure, thread lifting is a highly specialized treatment that demands a strong understanding of anatomy, thread mechanics, and patient-specific indications.

The Japan Thread Lifting Association was founded with the mission of addressing these challenges and ensuring that thread lifting becomes a safer and more effective medical technique. Our goal is to create an environment where patients can feel confident in the care they receive.

Through workshops led by experienced specialists, case discussions, sharing of complication management, and awareness-raising activities regarding medical safety, the Association will promote standardization of knowledge and technique while supporting the continued skill development of practitioners. For those who are new to the procedure, we aim to provide educational and practical guidance that can serve as a reliable compass.

Another important role of the Association is to provide accurate and trustworthy information to patients. By sharing scientifically sound information, we aim to help patients make informed decisions without anxiety or misunderstanding, and to foster strong relationships built on trust between clinics and patients.

In addition, we recognize the importance of thoroughly understanding the various thread products currently on the market—their structural characteristics, mechanisms of action, suitable indications, and proper usage. We will work together with our members to deepen knowledge in this area as well.

Our activities would not be possible without the cooperation of companies involved in thread lifting products, especially authorized importers and manufacturers. We are committed to working closely with industry partners to promote safe practices, share the latest insights, and elevate the overall quality and integrity of the market.

More than just a technical training hub, our association values professional ethics, continuous learning, and open exchange among medical professionals. We also seek to share Japan’s advanced thread lifting techniques and clinical knowledge with the global community, contributing to international dialogue and collaboration in aesthetic medicine.

We warmly welcome all physicians, professionals, and companies who share our mission to join us. Together, we can ensure that thread lifting remains a safe and beneficial option for patients worldwide.
